How to Install, Activate and Setup Distance Rate
To set up WPCargo Merchant Add on you make sure all the following plugins is installed and activated.
- WPCargo
- WPTaskForce License Helper
- WPCargo Custom Field Add-ons
- WPCargo Frontend Manager
- WPCargo Distance Rate
After installed all the plugins including the WPCargo Distance Rate plugin you need to activate the plugin license. This license is sent to you email after your purchase is completed.
To activate your WPCargo Distance Rate license, follow this steps.
- Login to your site admin dashboard
- Go to admin sidebar menu WPCargo -> License Helper
- Add license key to “WPCargo Distance Rate” field
- Click “Activate” button to activate your license
Now, we have to set up the plugins settings.
- Login to your site admin dashboard
- Go to admin sidebar menu WPCargo -> Distant Rate Settings
In the plugin settings, you have to fill up all the forms
- Set default shipment status – Default shipment status.
- Select shipment status after order completed – Shipment status after order completed.
- Select Dimension Unit – Dimension unit of distance.
- Maximum Distance – This will be the maximum distance between origin and destination.
- Sort rate result by cheapest to dearest? – Rates will display according to price.
- Parcel protection covered information – Note: This information will display as the parcel protection covered information when submitting order. Use HTML tags for text display.
- Enable Prohibited & Restricted Items List confirmation? – Note: This will require confirmation of users to agree with the prohibited and restricted items list.
- Prohibited Items – Note: This information will display as prohibited items. Add values into a comma-separated format.
- No Compensation Items – Note: This information will display as no compensation items. Add values into a comma-separated format.
Click the save settings button to save the distance rate settings.
