WPCargo has predefined shipment detail fields upon installation. Using Custom Field Add-on, you are able to add, update or remove those fields. It also allows you to create your custom section with the custom fields you wanted to add.
WPCargo Custom Field Add-ons provides meta tags of the shipment data you want to include in your label information. All of the fields you have added in your Custom Field add-on will generate meta tags which you can add to their respective label sections or customize the order of the information displayed in CF Print Label settings.
WPCargo Address Book allows you to save shippers and receivers data to be used when creating new shipments. This auto populates the shipper’s and receiver’s data when clicking from the dropdown selection which could greatly save time when entering value on shipment fields.
WPCargo allows customers to identify the actual location of the shipment using Google Maps and Google Autocomplete. You have to generate Google API key to be added on WPCargo Map Setting. WPCargo lets you identify what location in the map would you like to display by adding the longitude and latitude of that location. You also have the option on what addresses will display on your autocomplete location field by entering ISO 3166-1 Alpha-2 compatible country code. This way, you can limit the results loaded and can identify right away the address that you are looking for.
In order to keep track of what is happening on the shipment, real time notification for customers is a must. WPCargo has a default functionality that notifies administrator and customers with the shipment updates through email. You have the option to disable this feature to both users.
Customize all you want. Through WPCargo Client Email and Admin Email settings, recipients, subject and contents of your email can be customized. You can configure which shipment status will send email notifications. The system also provides meta tags for customizing the shipment data you want to include in your email content.
Each shipment has an assigned employee, branch manager, agent and driver. When shipment is assigned to each designation, an email notification will be sent. WPCargo has available settings to disable this functionality.
WPCargo Shipping Rate allows you to define rates based on the origin and destination entered in Search Rates form. The system allows you to define your locations, zones and shipping rates and let clients enter shipment weight and dimensions to get rate results. This plugin requires Woocommerce for integration which allows clients to proceed to checkout after filling in the shipment information.
This add-on allows you to override the template of your search form and your search results through your child theme. So you don’t have to update your core files and still be able to update your plugins once latest/new versions are released.

WooCommerce has reasonable levels of flexibility and several vital features such as inventory and tax management, secure payments and shipping integration. WPCargo payments are made through woocommerce since this has several payment gateways to choose from. WPCargo uses Woocommerce functionalities to allow customers to checkout through your website and make payments right away. Woocommerce also sends invoice of the payment made through email.
This also shows the list of orders in your front end dashboard wherein you can find the payments you have done and the details of the order you made.
