How To Use WPCargo Invoice Addon
- Invoice Backend Settings
– The invoice backend settings will give admins the capability to edit invoice template. HTML tags are allowed and most importantly, shipment details can be extracted using meta tags.
- Invoice + Default Shipment
– After creating a normal shipment under “Create Shipments” page, an invoice will automatically generate and you can find it on the “Invoices” page. You can then edit that invoice, add additional charge, and save it.– After saving and printing the invoice, the result would be like this:
- Invoice + Shipping Rate
– Assuming that you have a Shipping Rate shipment with a cost of 336. An invoice is also generated but this time, you can no longer add charges as Shipping Rate shipments are generated after successful checkout with WooCommerce. Instead, the total rate cost will reflect to the total invoice charge.– The corresponding invoice for that shipment would look like this:
– After printing the invoice, the result would be:
- Invoice + Parcel Quotation
– Assuming that you have created a quotation with a Total Estimated Charges of 50 and already marked as completed order, a shipment with a corresponding invoice will also generate. For the Parcel Quotation shipment’s invoice, you can edit the additional charges fields just like the Default shipment’s invoice.– On the example below, I’ve edited the Shipping Cost from 10 to 100 which made the total charges 140. After saving and printing the invoice, the result would look like this:
