How to Publish your WPCargo App on Playstore

Create an Account on Google Playstore

1. Sign up for a Play Console Developer account
   Note: You must be at least 18 years of age to sign up for a Play Console Account.
   1. Using your google account or google email, Sign Up for a Play Console developer account.
   2. Follow the steps on how to create and account as stated on the registration panel.
2. Accept the Developer Distribution Agreement.
3. Pay the one-time registration fee of $250.00. Google only accepts credit or debit cards including the following:
   1. • MasterCard
      • Visa
      • American Express
      • Discover ( U. S. only )
      • Visa Electron ( outside U. S. only )
4. Choose a developer account type. For publishing of WPCargo Mobile Applications, please choose Organization.
5. Verify your developer identity information. You must complete the verifications when setting up your Play Console developer account. You can also add more or update your account information after you have created your account.

Publish your Application on Google Play Console

1. Login to your Play Console Account.
2. On your home dahsboard, select create an app.
   
3. Enter Mobile Application details
   1. Enter Mobile App Name and select default language. Note: You can choose your own application name.
   2. Set option to App. Note: you can change this later.
   3. Choose free option. Note: You can also change this setting later on.
   4. Confirm to Developer Program Policies.
   5. Accept US export laws.
   6. Create your App and wait to be redirected to your app dashboard.
      
4. In your app Dashboard, Select Set up your app.
   1. Add privacy policy link and save. Note: you must have your privacy policy in your website or you can generate a free one.
   2. Add App Access.
      1. Select All or some functionality in my app is restricted.
      2. Click on Add Instructions.
      3. Add login credentials. Note: Google Play needs this to test you mobile application. It can be a demo account.
         
   3. Select Ads Option. Please select no ads by default.
   4. Add content rating.
      1. Click on Start Questionnaire.
      2. Add email address. This will be used to contact you about your content ratings. It may be shared with rating authorities and IARC.
      3. Select application category. WPCargo Mobile Apps belong under All Other App Types.
      4. Accept terms and conditions then click next.
      5. Setup the content ratings. For WPCargo app, select No for all contents stated. Click save then proceed to next.
      6. Once you have been redirect to content summary page, reviewll the details and save. You can go back to the previous page if you wish to update the content.
         
   5. Add Target audience and content. Note you can select 18 and above bt do not restrit the app. Save.
   6. Add News App Option. Note: Please select No for this setting.
   7. Add data safety settings.
      1. Data collection and security
         1. Does your app collect or share any of the required user data types? Select YES.
         2. Is all of the user data collected by your app encrypted in transit? Select YES.
         3. Which of the following methods of account creation does your app support? Choose Username and password.
         4. Add link in which user can request to delete their data.
         5. Do you provide a way for users to request that some or all of their data is deleted, without requiring them to delete their account? (Optional). Select No.
      2. Data Types
         1. Under location, check on both the approximate location and the precise location. This is used in the Driver Route Pages.
         2. Under Personal information, select Name, Email, Address and Phone Number
         3. Skip Financial Info and Health and Fitness
         4. Under messages, please select email.
         5. Under Photos and Videos, please select both.
         6. Select files and docs.
      3. Data Usage and Handling
         1. Next to each user data type your app collects or shares, select Start to answer questions about how the data is used and handled. You can go back to previous page to change data types. Do these for all data types listed.
            
   8. Select Option for Government Apps. WPCargo is not government app.
   9. Financial Features. Choose My app doesn’t provide any financial features.
   10. Health App. Select My app does not have any health features.
   11. Select an app category and manage store settings.
       1. Select app category. For WPCargo Mobile App, you can choose Tool.
       2. Add Store listing contact details.
       3. Remove option to advertise outside google play.
   12. Setup your store listing.
       
       1. Fillout App Name, short descriotion and full description.
       2. Upload screenshot. Note: Please prepare media top be uploaded in the following sizes:

          Featured Image	15 MB	*.jpeg, *.png	1024px by 500px
          Screenshot Image	8 MB	*.jpeg, *.png	16:9 ratio or 9:16 ratio

       3. Save data
5. Once all setup has been completed and ready for review, proceed to Release your app.
   1. Let anyone sign up to test your app on Google Play and choose countries and regions.
      
   2. Create a new release. Note: Make sure that you have the correct app versioning.
      1. Upload your .aab file.
      2. Add release name.
      3. Add release notes.
      4. Click on “Next”.
         
   3. Go to Publishing Overview and check for app issues. Comply and fix all isues first.
      
   4. Once all issues has been addressed, send all changes for review.
6. Wait for Google Console to email you about your app submission status. Note: Verification from google may take some time.
